Here we are, I can taste the air at the finish line. Thanks to you amazing believers in me, I am still here and hopefully making you proud. More than ever I need your support in votes. The competition is getting stiff and intense and now, I feel being in the bottom 3 is up to the fans. I hear that there are people that stay up all night voting. I can’t put in enough words my gratitude for that. Tell everyone you know to help out if you still want me here. Here is fun. I like here. Even if I win this whole thing there are only a few weeks left so I am really trying to take it all in and appreciate everything that comes with this life here.

All the drama here is over which is great.  You can’t hide true colors forever. I love her anyway and we all do really get along just fine.

“Clocks.” I had the closest race in the polls which made me feel pretty special— you care! Thanks. I looked at a lot of the requests on why you chose it and I decided to give you the intimacy of the piano but also the rock and roll you love. The heart of this show. Expect a fun time. I will give you the best I can do.

Anyhow, all good here. Loving life and the whole experience and can’t wait to see where this road takes me. I am happy many of you have already found my music online and are the truest of fans.

Keep me here and I will keep bringing you my best. I love you all. Thanks you from the bottom of my heart.

                              See you on TV,

What a dream it was to perform my original song for the world. I have never had that much fun on a stage. My band Stage got together at the young age of 15. Every night for over eleven years we went to bed with the dream of making it. The hopes of letting the world hear our music and making our mark.

That chapter in our life ended when we broke up last year and I moved on to being a solo artist. It ended a little incomplete and “Back Of Your Car” was one of the last songs that I wrote for the band. By playing it on the show I felt like I was playing it for the 15 year olds in us. All the night we stayed up wishing, all the sick days we had to perform, the twelve-hour van rides to play in front of 4 people and all of the heartache that goes into following your dream. What made it even more memorable is that Peter, my bass player and best friend (he does my web site now) came out from New York just to see me play the two and a half minute song. Thanks. I did it for all of us. To top it off, halfway through the song the crowd started singing the words to an original song they never heard before.

It was a great moment and the energy was high so I ripped off the three thousand dollar guitar I was playing and threw it away so I could get closer to the people. Thankfully you will be happy to know the guitar is doing just fine and will be back in the game any day now. I have always been pretty rough with my instruments and my body onstage.

The night was great. I was hoping for the encore but there was none. I play that song acoustic in my set and it is awesome.

To end. thank you, thank you, thank you for making me Ryan “The Dark Horse” Star (ha), one of 3 people not to have to stand up for elimination day.

Thank you for believing in me. Thank you for listening.

The support is amazing and believe it or not, you make me smile. I want to go all the way so please, please keep me here. Think of ideas to get more people to vote. I know you are smart out there. It’s going to get even tougher. Know that when I am sitting while people are standing on Wednesdays, all I am thinking about are my amazing fans who believe in me and who have kept me here. I love you all. Thank you with all my heart.

Keep it coming. Vote, vote, vote and I will make you proud! See you soon.

Hey everyone. Another busy and crazy few days here. I had a great day when Supernova granted me my second encore with “In the Air Tonight.” It was an honor and I had a blast doing it. I especially like that song because it is more like the music I have been playing the last year in NYC as a solo artist.

Thank you all so much for keeping me alive in this competition. Now that we are down to the final 7 contestants it really comes down to fans. I know it’s a lot to ask but I need your help more than ever. Voting once isn’t going to be enough anymore. I want to thank all the people who I have heard stay up the whole night voting. It really means the world to me. Lets show Supernova that I belong!

The boys are all tight. A United Nations of rockers- Iceland, Australia, Canada, and USA. We are all having a blast working on our A game on the court (ha ha)- “Raindrops” and jamming but mostly staying away from the drama.

Thank you for keeping me here. I will continue to make you PROUD if you keep voting. I want to shout out to all of my fans in Malaysia, Singapore, and Indonesia. I can’t wait to meet you all. I feel it’s like my 2nd home.

Thanks to everyone with all my heart. See you on the TV.

Love,
Ryan

I guess I am officially the Rollercoaster character on the show. Ups and Downs. I was really proud of my performance of “Paint It Black” and was amazed to finally hear Dave Navarro say he was speechless and then called me a real contender for the position to lead Supernova. A great highlight for me especially coming off of an encore week with “Losing my Religion.” So as you know, I was in the bottom 3 but because I was proud of my performance, I just enjoyed the idea of getting to play again. Especially because I wanted the world to hear my version of Depeche Mode’s “Enjoy the Silence.”

Fun Ryan fact: I forgot 2 lines in the song and those lines were “Words are meaningless and forgettable” so if anyone asks, I meant to do it.

I hope people are still voting for me. I enjoyed my time on the stage on Wednesday but I would really love it if it doesn’t happen again. Thanks in advance for the love.

Ryan Fun Fact #2: I am the last American guy on the show. It is officially an Olympics of Rock and Roll.

People have been calling me Seabiscuit. I guess because I was the underdog but now I seem to be making big moves. I really think it’s because of the confidence my fans have been giving me so thank you a million times for that.

Vegas was insane. The other boys passed out by ten pm (seriously) and I partied through the night with Supernova. It was a blast and I am right back in the game. This week getting ready to sing a beautiful song called “In the Air Tonight” by one of my favorites Phil Collins. For one night it will be my song and I can’t wait for you to hear it.

Please, please, please, please vote more. Tell your friends. I am doing my best here but I still need your help.

Thanks for all the love.

Ryan
